DEADLINE EXTENDED! Proposal Deadline: March 1, 2010 The Twin Cities Jazz Society (TCJS) is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization supported by membership donations, dedicated to promoting jazz music, especially live jazz by local musicians. The Jazz J to Z Concert Series operates in a variety of venues across the Twin Cities area, including theaters, arts centers, high school and college auditoriums, and clubs. Proposal Selection Information - Proposals will be reviewed by the J to Z Committee (composed of TCJS Board members, and music experts) with final approval by the full TCJS Board.
- Selection will be based upon information received in the written proposal and any supporting documentation provided; you may be asked to provide audio samples. Do not send CD’s at this time.
- All performers are guaranteed compensation.
- All scheduling will be done through TCJS and subject to the availability of venues and the fit of the proposed concert with a venue.

*Check made out to: Other Requirements: - Show may not be performed at any other Twin Cities venue 60 days prior to, or after the scheduled J to Z concert.
- Once your show has been accepted, and the compensation has been determined, there will not be any monetary adjustment for adding additional musicians.
- One check will be made out to the Primary Contact, and he/she is responsible for paying the other performers.
- A headliner may not apply or appear as a headliner in any show for a waiting period of at least two years. This does not apply to side men, though we do seek to offer our audiences a variety of performers each year.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
