Ross Irvine

Finance Director

Ross Irvine is Finance Director at William Russell and has been since he joined the company in 2018.

In his role, Ross oversees all financial aspects of the company’s operations. This includes tasks ranging from preparing monthly management accounts and year-end accounts to crafting annual budgets and collaborating with our underwriters. Ross also takes a hands-on approach to reviewing the pricing and performance of our insurance book, ensuring we remain competitive and profitable in the market.

Prior to joining William Russell, Ross’ career path led him through various roles in commerce and industry, with a significant portion spent at a US-based, private equity-owned vending business. During his tenure there, Ross held positions as the Finance Director of the UK operation and later as the European Managing Director. In these roles, he played a pivotal part in overseeing three successful private equity exits.

Ross is a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA).
