Insurance for non-expats

Normally, we only provide insurance to expats (i.e., people living and working outside of their country of nationality). But there are a few exceptions.

1/ My main residence is in my country of nationality, but I spend at least half of the year travelling

If you spend at 6 months of the year (or more) living outside your country of nationality, or travelling abroad for work or leisure, we can provide you with an insurance policy. On our online quote tool, please select the country where you expect to spend most of your time when you’re outside your country of nationality.

2/ I’m a British citizen who lives and works in one of the British Overseas Territories or Crown Dependencies

We count British citizens living and working in the British Overseas Territories or Crown Dependencies as expats. That means you can purchase insurance if you’re a British Citizen and you reside in the Isle of Man, one of the Channel Islands, or an Overseas Territory such as the Cayman Islands or Anguilla.

3/ I’m a digital nomad and I don’t spend more than a few months in any one country

We can provide insurance policies to digital nomads. On our online quote tool, please select the country where you expect to spend the most amount of time over the next 12 months.

4/ I’m a citizen of one of the following countries

In certain countries, we can provide insurance to non-expats who are permanently resident in their country of nationality.
